Starring: Seth Rogan, James Franco, Gary Cole, Danny McBride
Dale Denton (Rogan) is a process server wherein he serves people subpoenas or court summons. He and his marijuana dealer Saul (Franco) are good friends who gives him Pineapple Express, one of the finest weeds he has. Dale has a summon to deliver to Ted Jones (Cole) who turns out to be Saul's main weed supplier. He sees Ted murder an Asian man and panics and runs away. He accidentally leaves behind an unfinished Pineapple Express which Ted identifies and traces back to Saul. Dale runs to Saul's and the two later escape to another weed dealer, Red's (McBride), hideout. Ted and his men are on the lookout for Dale and Saul and suspect them to be a part of their Asian counterparts army and starts hunting them down. The movie cannot be watched for good plots and nice performances. It's supposed to be watched because it might be a bit funny and can be an overall entertaining watch. Seth Rogen does a fairly decent job at being funny but the buck stops there. It is entertaining and watchable but you wont fall off your seat laughing hard.
Thumbs up: Decent entertainer
Thumbs down: Not very funny
Rating: 6.6/10
