Identical twins, like the name goes are supposed to be exact look-alikes of each other. Guddu and Charlie (Kapoor) is one such pair that seems to be alike but are poles apart. Charlie fixes matches at horse races, whereas Guddu does a more decent job of working at an NGO. The brothers utterly despise each other and have taken different paths of life. A pair of corrupt police officers are set to exchange one hundred packets of cocaine with a drug peddler, when co-incidentally they encounter Charlie and his gang and the guitar case with the hidden dope in it, lands in the hands of Charlie. Guddu, on the other hand has impregnated his girlfriend Sweety (Chopra) and is planning to marry her. Sweety's brother, Bhau Bhope (Gupte) is politician and loves his motherland. A cinematic version of our ever famous Raj Thackrey, he despises the fact that his sister loves and wants to marry a non-marathi. A bit too many people come to know about the guitar case and everyone has their eyes on it. From a Bengali bookie, a greedy politician, a hippie drug peddler to corrupt cops, everyone is falling over each other to get to the dope. The movie seemed to be inspired by a lot of Hollywood movies, most of it coming from Snatch. It may be difficult to spot the resemblance, but the basic idea of a worthwhile object and endless people fighting for it was seen before. A good attempt at trying to make something different, but the story lost its pace at vital moments which did not go down too well with audiences. Shahid Kapoor has done a phenomenal piece of performance which was the sole reason for the movies positive appeal.
